A little pricey but worth the money. I love the menu here. Portions are small but the quality ,akes up for it. I've been here a few times and always look forward to eating here.
Dined with a big group, so we had three rounds of individual tapas plates. All were beautifully presented and delicious. They came pretty quickly too, and saved on the need to order straight away. Service was charming and efficient - one of our group came from the Basque region and assured us that the owners and food were very authentic
The back patio was just like in an alley in Paris. Great ambiance & lots of little nooks. I was with a good friend, but will be back with my husband for a romantic dinner. It's great that Milford has a restaurant like this!
Since the last time we went, the quality has gone way down. The paella was dry and bland with few of the elements to make it a seafood paella. We ordered four small plates and the mushrooms and duck were fine, the clams were middling, the artichokes were good.
The orange hued walls welcome from the moment you enter Bistro - the small bar up front is comfortable with friendly bartenders to sit leisurely and even dine there... But tables out back outdoors or partially covered area give a secluded and foreign feel to the dining experience. The tapas choices are inventive, with daily specials available. Sardines, mussels, cauliflower... More
It was our first time, we tried the squid in ink, very tasty. Overall a good restaurant, the paella was very good, lots of shrimps, scallops and stuff. Would definitely go back What is it with east coast restaurant not to offer California wines?
We turned to tripadvisor for an unplanned stop over in Milford, CT. We were making our way back home from a great trip in Maine, and thought our culinary experiences were behind us. We ended up staying in Milford for the night and found this great restaurant through tripadvisor. We decided to split some tapas dishes rather than the standard... More
This place is amazing. They have lots of tapas, and several main plates, along with salads. And they have a great wine selection - all by the glass or by the bottle. The flavors were just right - very subtle for the cheese sauce with the Brussels sprouts (we loved this, even though the sprouts are far from our favorite... More
Let me preface this review by saying that I have been coming to the beach in Milford for over 50 years. I can probably count on two hands the number of times we have eaten out. We started with a glass if wine. My husband enjoyed his Cote du Rhone. There are only 4 whites by the glass on the... More
We had some excellent dishes and enjoyed the very personable wait-staff. This small kitchen turns out a lot of high quality food! A few mixed seafood dishes were not special. The middle dining room was unbelieveably loud and dark at night. Too few restrooms per tables. Highly recommended!
