I dined at this restaurant with my daughter and 2 of her friends (party of 4). We asked for one additional salsa for the chips, and the owner came over and yelled at us. He argued that we already had enough salsa (keep in mind that this was the first and only time that we asked for more salsa, and...

I've been here several times. My opinion is stick with the typical Mexican dishes of which there are plenty to choose from. I'm a big fish eater so I asked on one visit what fish they had. The special was red snapper. "Huachinango! I replied!" They were surprised to see a "Gringo" speaking a Mexican Spanish! I asked (in Spanish)...

The food was very good. The homemade chips and salsa were tasty. We also ordered guacamole for our chips and it was fresh, thick and chunky and tasted delicious. We got a 15% discount from our hotel so that made the food even better. The service was a bit slow. I kind of got the feeling that the staff catered...

Went on May 3rd search for guacamole and wasn't disappointed. Seafood enchiladas were excellent (rice & beans average, but OK). The service (by northern European sounding waitress) was very good. We'd return...
We were looking for a quick bite one night. We were very pleased with Pancho's. Chips were warm and crisp. Salsa was plain. Entree's were very good. Six large shrimp in a nice tomato sauce. Fried plaintain were some of the best I have had. Portions were large. Prices are very reasonable. Serivce was strange. There were five people working...

3/27/13 stayed at Sleep Inn and hotel recommended this restaurant. Arrived for dinner, was given soggy chips (that evidently they prepared much earlier in the day)....the waiter was down right rude-never speaking, smiling or friendly....just plain, unprofessional and the food when served was something one could purchase from Taco Bell. At least you'd have better service. The waiter never offered...

When we first walked in, the owner(?) was lying in one of the booths sleeping! The food was good and affordable.
I live across the street from this restaurant and I have only been once when I moved in the area two weeks ago. I was a little disappointed with the place. I went for lunch around 1pm and my wife and I asked for the burrito entree (chicken and beef) and was charged for the dinner portion rather than lunch...

Dania Beach Sleep Inn is just across the street and I have stayed there about a half dozen times, each time visiting Pancho's. I really enjoy the Cuban dishes on the menu. Never any problems.
