Service is great. The servers seem to have a knack for pairing their wine with their food. I had a nice Chardonnay with their Seafood mix and it was wonderful. Another visit rendered a great white wine pairing with their Paella which was probably the best this side of Mallorca. Their presentation always seems to stack up and the atmosphere... More

This is our aunt's favorie dinner place for 'special guests. We had escargot, stuffed mushrooms, crunchy platter, broiled platter, and shrimp platter. Broiled platter: shrimp was delish, didn't mention what the fish was Shrimp platter: nicely varied, fired, provencal, stuffed Crab cake stuffing was mushy. They didn't ever ask for drink orders.

The crab legs and lobster were very good. Crab legs were a little expensive vs. some other restaurants in the area. The shrimp bisque was also excellent. Would definitely recommend the Prawnbroker to other visitors.

Very nice food - very fresh, which is so important with seafood. Service is brisk, but friendly. The only slight negative is that they don't seem keen to stay open late mid-week!

Highly recommended seafood restaurant - we loved the soft shell crab and the mahi mahi. And be sure to get the sweet potato with all the fixings!

The service was outstanding as provided by Becky. The food quality was wonderful as well. The menu is extensive and presentation was great. I will return many times to try different dishes. I highly recommend you give this place a try.

This is a fun place with good food. It has been here at least for 30 years. You will enjoy yourself and have a very good meal. It's is in the same location and a very good one in S. Fort Myers. Go, eat, enjoy.

We liked the Prawnbroker, but two of us felt that the preparation of the grouper (on the "early bird menu") was less grilled and more baked--just a personal preference of ours regarding preparation, that's all. The salmon and the crunchy grouper were praised. Overall, everyone was happy with his or her meal, even the one of us who had steak.... More

We have been dining at this restaurant for years. The broiled grouper is excellent. Also the crunchy grouper is very good ! The New England clam chowder is really great ! If you love French Onion soup, you will not be disappointed ! The service has always been outstanding.
