The road that leads to Alabama Jacks is long. I am not a motorcycle joint kind of girl, but I love a place with character. The place was hopping with families, couples and lots of characters. There was a band playing and some cowgirls and cowboys were whooping it up on the dance floor. It was a blast watching. We... More

One of a kind eatery and had local Florida beer, which some local places did not have!!!! Nice atmosphere, very casual and laid back. Excellent views of the water. A band was playing the place had a up beat spirit. I think this place is frequented by locals, too. It was very busy when we arrived but the staff worked... More

Great unique location and atmosphere. Enjoy cold beer and conch fritters whilst assorted reptiles float by. Ignore the negative reviews and enjoy the drive over the Cardsound toll bridge.

Twenty years ago the Florida Keys was littered with places like this. Decent food (as long as you like it fried), reasonably priced, cold beer, a dock and a guy playing guitar. Sadly, there are not that many left as "development" has crept in. Although there is nothing extraordinary about this place it is a neat place to stop on... More

Fun place, pretty view and surprisingly very good (but fried) food! Lots of birds might share the tasty food with you though! Only complaint is that there was no music ...not even a radio!

On Thursday, April 11th, we left Punta Gorda, Florida with six other boats. Our goal was to circumnavigate Southern Florida. Our return date was scheduled for May 5th. April 25th about half way through our trip, traveling between Elliot Key and Key Largo, we decided to stop for lunch at Alabama Jacks. We anchored our sailboats in a little bay... More

We stopped in here on the way to the airport from the keys. The food was average but our server (Jennifer) was very good. Great bloody Mary's and conchs are a must. It was Sunday lunch so enjoyed the live band.

It is worth the few minutes out of the way on Card Sound Road to eat here! Best Conch fritters and coconut shrimp in Florida! Sits outside on the water. Live music, friendly staff and great fun! This is the best place to hang out in South Florida!

Food is just average, but you can't beat the atmosphere and experience so my overall rating was higher than if it was just for the food. The servers hustle, especially Dog, but you never know if they will stop at your table. Parking can be a nightmare especially on weekends. The weekend bands draw a lot of customers and dancers.... I have been here multiple times over the last several years and I have never been disappointed. It is ideal late afternoon early evening as the sun goes down and the island breeze blows in. The food is great especially the conch fritters and sweet potato fries with ranch dressing. On one visit we saw manatees swimming right past the... More
