We really enjoyed the view. We were originally seated outside but the wind really picked up and the staff was very accomodating to get us moved inside. The food was average and maybe slighly overpriced. But we really did not find any great restaurants in Key Largo so I would say this is one of the better ones for sure.

The staff are very friendly and answered our menu questions. I ordered the scallops in panko crumbs. They came with lots of fresh vegetables. The key lime pie was one of the best we tried over the course of three days.. I was also partial to the Basil Hound cocktail. After dinner sit back and watch the sun set over... More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch in route to Key West because we had read that they have veggie food choices. And they do! We ordered vegetable kabobs and roasted potatoes. Quite good and a generous amount. We took the leftovers with us. The service was attentive and the view is lovely. We really enjoyed watching the boats... More

the food is a mixed bag and overpriced, with bad management. the one good thing about this restaurant is the view.

En route from Naples to Key West we stopped at this lovely location for coffee. Great sitting on the terrace watching the wildlife whilst enjoying refreshment - thank you to Josh for his advise and hospitality. We also (deliberately) stopped here on our way back from The Keys (4 days later) - for lunch. However, food not great and very... More

Four of us went for dinner to have a nice meal and watch the sunset. The location is superb. When we booked, we worried that the positive reviews might be skewed by the setting so our expectations were not overly high. We started with conch fritters which had an unfortunate appearance. They looked like they came from the back end... More

We stopped at Sundowners for a late lunch and started with piña coladas. They were home made, with toasted coconut shards...creamy like a milkshake. Delectable! So good that although I remember lunch as being very good, it is the drink that really stands out. We went back for another on our way to the airport !

Fantastic seafood and a great view of the sunset. Only complaint would be that the outside seating area is a free-for-all for smokers, so you may get inundated with smoke, depending on which way the wind is blowing. Otherwise, this would get a five-dot/excellent rating.

To start out, we waited about an hour whenever we requested something. We had to ask another waiter to actually get our food our waiter took so long. The food was off and in a couple instances just plain tacky. My dish, a tomato pasta plate, was overly salty. So much so in fact that I couldn't finish it. My... More
