We cycled here in 10mins along the old highway from Checca resort for breakfast. Convenient location, the bakery goodies looked great but we went for eggs instead. The omelette was great, good bread choices (rye pumpernickel especially), shame they couldn't offer poached eggs though. Nice assortment of smoothies and frappes. Clean and cheerful interior.

Stopped in for breakfast. Food was excellent! Homemade bread was Phenominal. Atmosphere was quaint. Service was exceptional. Great place to stop and eat anytime while in islamorada.

I had an omelette and the hubby had a sandwich. Both were good, hubby's was made wrong but sending food back at a place this small for the wrong cheese costs them too much money and isn't worth it. Nice staff and decent coffee!

This little cafe was walking distance from our hotel so we ate here 2 mornings in a row. The staff was super friendly. We were greeted immediately upon walking in letting us know to order at the counter and then find a table. The place is small, but we had no problem finding a place to sit, even on Sunday.... More

The prices are really good. The homemade toast, wheat, is awesome. The girls provide excellent service, polite, friendly, fast service. I recommend everything on the menu. We don't drink coffee but they are well known for theirs. The breakfast food and smoothies were fantastic, we also got delicious sandwiches there for the day we went fly fishing. You can eat in the small dining area (with cute painted tables, very colorful interior) or take out. Their ham was really tasty.

I was expecting something wonderful from all the reviews....food was ok and coffee was awful.. Not worth the price or the service.

Midway was a fun, little place! I like the funky atmosphere and the staff are nice. I got a latte which was good. I was disappointed in the stuffed croissant, it just wasn't all that great. Everything looked really good in the display case though! A bit expensive but I will be back for some more coffee!

My wife and I ate breakfast at the Midway twice on our recent trip to the Keys. We loved it. That's why we went back for a second time. The breakfast choices are great with many nontraditional choices and reasonable prices. On both occasions we were happy with our meal. It is a quaint, quiet, and a little romantic place.
