Amazing food served here..!! I must say I do not eat sushi.. I went with my husband who is a big sushi fan. They have plenty of food options other then sushi. Had a lovely time at the Kaiyo grill over Christmas! Really excellent service and the food was outstanding, definitely our favorite restaurant in the Keys. The ahi tuna is a must have and I really enjoyed the filet mignon. Great destination for fresh, fantastic food and guaranteed to make a memorable impression.

If you don't want Sushi and such, there are quite a few other choices. I had Yellowtail Snapper Menuire and it was very good. Cooked perfectly, but will ask for more sauce next time. Second time dining at Kaiyo while in Islamorada. Started off with the Threesome of mac n' cheese- lobster, applebacon and low country and the Tuna Squared sushi was fantastic. This was yummy! All of our dinners were excellent- Drunken Scallops, Filet, sushi-beef on weck and crazy cuban. This is definitely a must when dining in Islamorada, you won't be disappointed.

“Hogfish Roll!”

Very good choice of hot and cold dishes. The Hogfish Roll is the very best I ever had. Sushi is super fresh and items like the Volcano roll, steamed clams, etc are all world class.

Excellent dinner. Service was great. Eggplant chip were awesome as well as the Wagu sliders. Good sushi and the Hog fish was tasty. Affordable wine list.

Dear Kaiyo. No one will be upset if you write down their order. Ever. It is upsetting when you are ignored, your order is not placed and is wrong when it finally comes out.
