We've been several times and eveything is very good. The staff is always friendly and the food is excellant. It is a large place but it is broken up well with various types of seating so it feels intimate. There is a nice covered patio in the back to enjoy brunch.

One of the best Irish places I've ever been to! It was recommended by my third grade teacher -- I hadn't seen her in over 15 years, and this seemed like the perfect place to meet. =) The food was fantastic. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. My mom and I were first time visitors and we absolutely enjoyed it!... More

On the second Friday of the month, every month, Downtown Melbourne, FL holds a Friday Fest with street vendors, music, dancing, roller derby games (!), and typical fanfare. Directly off of this brouhaha is Meg O'Malleys. We requested a table for two and were seated within 30 minutes. Not bad for a Friday evening, but that is my only downvote... More

Great bean soup for 18 cents per cup! Also loved the buttered cabbage, the potato balls, brown bread, and the shepherd's pie.

We ate at Meg O’Malleys for back to back nights. The first night featured very good food and great beer, but we sat in the restaurant near the bar where the Irish folk singer was so loud we couldn’t hear anything else. Such a shame! I don’t understand why management thinks it needs to be this way. Restaurants and pubs... More

I have had a condo in Melbourne Beach for over twenty years and this is a must everytime we get down there....Unmatched corned beef sandwiches, overstuffed and delish....True Irish pub....great atmosphere. And I love downtown melbourne, it is loaded with boutique shops in a beautiful quaint setting. Worth an afternoon trip!

this is a great pub. not a cookie cutter place, they have a very unique touch on pub fare. good beer and food. it gets very loud though. when they get live music they turn it up entirely too loud for a restaurant and you cant hear conversation anywhere in the restaurant. i am 32 and have no hearing loss.
