Excellent food and a large selection on the menu. Service was very good. Nice selection of wine. Sometimes there's music and the Chef sings. There's also a happy hour that's well worth the price.

I recently went back to La Scaletta with friends and once again we enjoyed the fresh Italian dishes. The food is always fresh and so delicious that it's hard to not want to order again. Also, the service is great with a friendly, professional staff. I'll continue to frequent La Scaletta every week. Truly love this place.
We have lived here a few years and stumbled on to this great place. Small and nicely appointed. We sat at the bar, the bread, soup and pizza was fantastic! The place was spotless and our bartender engaging. I have been to thousands of places I rate this one in the top 20. It may be a little hard to...

We met friends for dinner there last night who highly recommended the restaurant. They were able to bring their own bottles of wine for a $10 corkage fee which I thought was fair. We started with a Vegetarian pizza and Frittura di Gamberi which was delicate and very tasty. My husband and I shared the Linguini al Crostone for two....

On the positive, the bolognase is not bad. That's it on the plus side. After several visits, all but the first reluctantly, I conclude that they have no clue. Pasta is mush on one visit, nearly raw on the next. The Thursday night unlimited pizza and pasta is a joke. One little pizza and one bowl of pasta at a...

After 7 visits, we highly recommend La Scaletta Ristorante. The food is excellent and we've never been disappointed. The happy hour is great, but with reasonable prices for smaller portions, the dining room is fairly priced for superb authentic Italian cuisine. We don't understand any negative comments but maybe people just expect fine dining on the $5 pizza/pasta night. Do...

I just went there with a friend to try the "unlimited" pizza and pasta. Waited 20 minutes for a paper plate of 1 small thin greasy weird tasting slice of pizza and about 1/2 cup of pasta with the worse sauce I've ever tasted. Anyway, after we were done, another 20 minutes passed & finally the waiter came out &...

Arrived late but it was worth the travel. Our food was so good even though we waited to be served. The chef/owner sang romantic songs on the piano while we had our dinner. I will go back because the food was fresh and so good. Also, the people were friendly and very accommodating. My kind of place.
This is a relatively new restaurant, but even considering that they may be working out the kinks, things were not right. But before I elaborate, let me say the beneath the chaos, someone knows how to cook great Italian food at this place. I was quite pleased with my salmon dish which was a nice sized portion of fresh salmon...

Visited La Scaletta with friends for the first time recently. Went on a Friday evening and the place was packed. A good sign, or was it? We were seated and soon realized that there was only one waiter for the entire dining room. After a long wait, we were finally approached about drinks, then we waited again for an eternity...
