The food was average and the service was good. Sitting right on the water is nice if you get a window seat. I would have probably gone back if they were not tearing it down.
I've been here three times. The food is good and the service is always pleasant and timed well. It's a limited menu but decent. Good place to go to relax after shopping. Air conditioned and all! Frank was our most recent server and he was exceptionally pleasant.
We went here for the first time on our last trip, and it was a very nice place to relax and cool off. We always go for a boat ride in Downtown Disney, but before we went, we decided to stop in for some drinks and an appetizer. Best idea we had all trip! We sat at the bar, so... More
The food was average and overpriced. After asking another women about the crabcakes, I decided not get them when she didn't finish them and said she was highly disappointed. It smelled very fishy when we walked in so I was afraid to get any seafood or fish. Normally in a seafood restaurant I don't smell the fish that much. We... More
Happened upon Cap'n Jack's when meeting my college roommate and family in Orlando on 4th of July. Their first choice was booked so we opted for this restaurant because it had openings when we were scheduled to meet. Not as fancy looking as some of Downtown Disney's other theme restaurants but was perfect for our get-together. The water side view... More
This was an average meal. The service was great and so was the atmosphere, but the food was so-so. My daughter's kid's meal was quite good, though (although a little steep for $8.95) and we all enjoyed the spinach and artichoke dip. The crab cakes weren't that good, though. They were dry and the sauce was too spicy. Also, the... More
My daughter and I went here to meet with friends who were in town doing Disney. We'd never been before so I was excited to try something new. The staff that greeted us was great, but our service was just horrible. It took awhile for the server to even greet the table and that was just to say she'd been... More
This place doesn't look like anything fancy, and it really isn't. The wait isn't very long and it's not huge. It's slightly dated and my hopes of a decent meal were fading quickly once I got inside. The menu was pretty basic and we had some order pasta, some seafood, and I got the pot roast. I've got to say... More
We had expected a better experience for Downtown Disney. We made a last minute reservation through the concierge at our hotel for 4 adults and 1 child. The concierge advised that there were no reservations available for 5 but would book a table for 4 and they would have no problem accommodating us. Well, that couldn't be farther from the... More
We made reservations two nights before thinking we got lucky, but when we arrived for lunch at 11:45, we were one of two tables being served. Probably because it's in Downtown Disney, and it's kind of hidden away and not obviously a restaurant. If you have trouble finding it, just keep walking past Rainforest Cafe and go down the stairs.... More
