It's all Fried food but they get the seafood fresh so despite having to wait in line during busy days it's well worth it... I eat there once a week & love the Patti family & the great food the prepare... You can also do take out if your in a hurry... Don't forget to try the awesome deserts too!!!

If you want linen table cloths and fancy china (and the high prices to go with it) this is not your place. If you want perfectly fried seafood and a yummy piece of cake to top it off in a casual diner, come on in. Eating at Joey's has been a must do on our vacations to the gulf. Gumbo?... More

If you are looking for a low-cost, tasty meal and don't care about that much about the atmosphere, consider this place. We stopped for lunch during the week and were impressed with how busy it was. The gumbo was some of the best I have ever had -- loads of ingredients and bursting with flavor. The fish sandwich was also... More

This is my second time having lunch here and it was ok. I remember the first time not being really impressed but wanted to give it another try. I think if you like all fried food this is the place. I wish there were a few more options for grilled fish. The service is always quick and everyone's friendly.

We first walked to Joey Patti's - looked inside at the seafood market and were confused. I asked an employee outside where the restaurant was, and she pointed us across the parking lot to Captain Joey Patti's Seafood Restaurant. The inside is '50's lunch tables...food served in plastic baskets w/plastic utensils. Everything is fried...the side of beans were ok. The... More

There are only a couple of items on the menu that aren't fried. It's decent enough in its fashion but there are a dozen better seafood restaurants in Pensacola.

Fried seafood southern style. Only open for lunches. You have to not mind eating out of plastic baskets with plastic utensils but who really cares about that? With the fish market across the parking lot, it doesn't get much fresher. Great food, good prices.

We stopped at Joe Patti's Seafood in Pensacola as it is the #1 rated restaurant in Pensacola. We walked into the Seafood Market and asked about the restaurant. We were sent outside to a couple of mobile home style buildings. The restaurant is actually a diner, and definitely not what I expected for the #1 rated restaurant. But, I figured... More

Three of us dined there and the food and was service was excellent. Best grouper that I ever ate. Fresh and sweet. Catfish also is outstanding.along with service. It is also reasonably priced.
