took my fam. this morning. once again you have outdone yourself! KRISTINA IS SO FUNNY, make sure to ask for her.try the country skillet.
i visit often and have always enjoyed the food. the servers treat my family like their own. the owner or his wife are usually there to welcome you, and they both work really hard to maintain the food and cleanliness of their restaurant. i would recommend this place highly.
The ambience is not spectacular, but the food is very good. The staff is friendly and considerate, and the choices are broad including Greek dishes. The soups are imaginative, and all servings are hearty. The deserts look wonderful, but I need to order appetizers, I guess, instead of a dinner because there won't be room left for desert. I eat here a couple times a month and have never walked away disappointed or hungry. Food is home style cooking, portions are huge and prices are reasonable. There are daily specials and an amazing dessert case. Some of my favorites are the stuffed cabbage, pork chops, crab cakes, Florida cobb salad, good burgers and great soups. You get a... More
This place seems a bit understaffed. I went for lunch at around 12:30 and there was only 1 waitress in the front where I was sitting and she seemed a bit overwhelmed, I felt bad for her! It didn't seem like there was anyone around to help. I usually wouldn't complain, but I only have 45 min for lunch. I... More
This family owned restaurant is warm and welcoming. The food is fresh and served warm. The wait staff is always friendly and accommodating. Doesn't look like much from the outside but take a chance and go in.
Don't know what "cingroomer" is talking about because I see a service dog in the Parkside Cafe every week and they have no problems. Must have been that lady whose dog was jumping up on the table and eating off their food. She was not handicapped -said she was training. I was there! So, about the food... I noticed that... More
Owner stated he would not serve a customer because they had a service dog and made them leave. Said he didn't care about the law. Not a place i want to eat. How can you patronize someone that would turn away a handicapped person.
Made a breakfast stop - We were welcomed with smiles and coffee was at the table in about 2 minutes. The order was placed and the food arrived in less than 10 minutes. I ordered steak & eggs and the steak was top notch - could cut it with the normal diner knife. The eggs were perfectly cooked - which... More
Having been to the Parkside Cafe a number of time, I felt it time to write a review. If you like down home food (as in cabbage rolls, meatloaf, pork chops, and great soups) then the Parkside cafe is a place you will thoroughly enjoy. Decor is somewhere 1960's with booths and tables and the location is on the corner... More
