Went a few times over are last two holidays, loved the large steaks warm honey bread, never need a sweet after meals, even the draught beer was good and not to expensive.
The closest Longhorn to us is Port Richey, so it is a tough decision for me to go here when we want red meat, cause my favorite in the area is Seltzers! So we've gone here a couple times for lunch, and you do get a decent meal in a very comfortable setting. I can't say the meat is better... More
There´s not much choice around here and we chose to go here because it was advertised on the TV. It has a lot of atmosphere and the staff are genuinely attentive, rather than attentive because they have to be if you know what I mean! The steaks and ribs were succulent, the honey bread to die for, and the prices... More
We had a really great waiter, and the food was good. The bartender was a bit slow, but they were busy, and when we got our drinks they were top-notch.
Upon arrival around 8:15 pm we were just missing the dinner rush, still some family's left and with screaming kids. We were seated next to the restroom in the back, even tho there were plenty of tables, this started the evening rough. We ordered the porterhouse for two and the waitress we had seamed drugged up on lithium or stoned on weed, for sure... More
went for lunch and it wasn't excellent but very nice w/little touches like warm multigrain bread/butter quickly brought to table (inc. a not requested refill!) and cheesy potato chips (just a few) w/my mac and cheese (pretty good and decadent) and salad (caeser...eh...not completely coated w/dressing and didn't care for very run of the mill croutons but shaved parm was... Upon entering, we were hit with a "septic" smell & thought of walking out. We decided to stay but asked to speak with a manager. She apologized for the smell & said there have been problems for about 3 months & it was being investigated. The service & food was very good, but don't know if I would return without... More
My wife, mother and I tried this restaurant since we had good experience with the restaurant closer to Jacksonville where we live. Unfortunately we did not have the same quality experience at this location. The texas tonions came out dry and overcooked. The prime rib tasted okay but had way to much fat on it. The chop steak that we... More
Been going here for years (at least monthly), and it's the absolute best place for steaks. The only other good ones are Harold Seltzer's (across the street), and Texas Roadhouse (I-75 & SR56). And, don't even try to suggest Outback or Cody's. They don't come near comparable. Longhorn "does not" marinate their steaks, like Outback does. We (wife and I)... More
