Excellent tasting clam chowder, best sirloin my husband says - very flavorful and cooked exactly the way he likes it, I had a wedge salad with coconut shrimp. It was all good and we would return on our next visit!

After spending about ten minutes at the Sunday morning fresh market at Corey Ave, wife and I decided to have lunch. Leverock was on the way home. It was fairly busy. We were seated quickly and our waiter took our drink orders. We ordered the New England clam chowder and fish and chips. The chowder was tasty but could have...

This was our second trip to Leverock's. We arrived around 5:00pm on a Wednesday and they already had a 15 minute wait! I got the Mixed Grill which included Mahi-Mahi with a skewer of jumbo shrimp and scallops. My wife got the Grilled Grouper. Both were excellent. A trip to St. Pete Beach is not complete without dinner at Leverock's...

The food was excellent. We went there 2 of our 5 nites in St Pete Beach. This was reccomended by one one the beach staff at the TRADEWINDS where we stayed. Crowed early with the senior folks.
Day 3 we ate at Leverock's Seafood...what a great find. The clam chowder and bread were perfect start to dinner. My wife ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and I had the Maryland crab cakes...great choices. Service was a little slow but the overall experience was very good. We would definitely return.
Great food, and not just seafood! The New England clam chowder is excellent! A very friendly staff. Expect to have to wait, as this place is very popular, but they do take call-aheads. Plenty of parking. The bar and lounge area are small. A great value!
I used to live in Pinellas County, and what was then called Johnny Leverock's was my favorite seafood restaurant. We just tried this branch on Pasadena after an absence of over 15 years, and had a terrible experience. Where to start?
1. They have signs all over the place promoting their New England clam chowder for $3.99, so I figured...

Our experience as locals has always been good with restaurants in the area; this was the exception to the rule! It started off with a 'call ahead' to the restaurant for seating (kinda like a reservation) for 7:15pm on Thursday. I arrived at 6:55pm with a party of 5ppl and was told 20 minutes; I waited for 1hr before I...

We went here for dinner last night. Fantastic seafood (although the menu was extensive and included steak, chicken, pasta etc) I had a fantastic crab cake and small lobster tail (a combo not on the menu, but our waiter sorted it with no faff!) and my friend had the most enormous lobster tail and declared it devine! I can also...

Off the beaten path but yet close to the strip. Atmosphere was comfortable but seating was designed for the masses. Food was above average with knowledgeable and curtious staff. There does seem to be fresh fish here...there does not seem to be a lot of locally caught fresh fish here. It was a nice meal. Nothing extremely special but nothing...
