It was Sunday morning at 10:30, and we were looking for brunch. First we tried a nearby breakfast cafe, but they had a one-hour wait. So we went to try a nearby burger place, but they didn't open until 11:30. So I knew that this spot was in the same shopping area, and we decided to see how busy they... More

This is the place in Tahitian Gardens with the fossilized shell tables which is pretty cool in itself. We ate here twice for breakfast, and truthfully, I've had better, but I will say, it's just okay. Just had the standard eggs/sausage/grits & potatoes. Husband says potatoes are greasy so stay away ~ other than that, I think there may be... More

I went here since my favorite place was packed. They serve breakfast. There was hardly anyone there. The omelets were good . The toast and jam good . The service was great and the place has charming shell tables. But the hash browns were horrible. Greasy, old tasting like they sat there for days. I love my hash browns fresh... More

Before leaving Sanibel today we were deciding to go to lunch and since Cheeburger was closed we decided to try the Sanibel Café. The staff seemed friendly. Our meals were just okay. I have read a lot of reviews from this restaurant and they don't match up to my experience. The only thing I could say is we had lunch... More

Great place to have a bite. I had never had Almond French Toast before. They do a great job. Convenient location and right next to Wilford and Lee, the best shop in the Fort Myers area.

With the disappointing exception of the coffee, breaskfast was INCREDIBLY Good! Service by our waitress (Marley) was so friendly and inviting we asked her to join us :-) .... home made biscuits, jam and hash ... omelets and French toast (be sure to try the Pina Colada French toast!) .... WOW!

Reminded me of an old time diner but in a shopping center. Cozy and the custom tables are really neat. Glass tops each with a unique shell-scape inside. They had some pretty interesting items on the menu but we've had some disappointments on this vacation so decided to play it safe. Husband got 2 eggs, pancakes and bacon. Eggs were... More

I do not like giving bad reviews but this was not good food. I am also not a breakfast eater so maybe I am not the best person to give a good review. However, my husband is a lover of breakfast and he was so disappointed. For sure don't eat the crab - yuck. The table next to us sent... More

We've had breakfast here every trip over about 25 years. It has stayed consistently good. Omelettes non-greasy, good potatoes, pretty good coffee. Homemade raspberry jam is a bonus. Pleasant atmosphere and good service.

I had the crab cakes benedict in keeping with my mission to include crab in some form in every meal I had in Sanibel Island. It was outstanding. Great service, too.
