The food is awesome, the atmosphere is great! We always make several trips to the Flamingo when we are on the island!

We have eaten at both locations and enjoyed the grouper sandwich, the fresh Galveston Bay oysters, the many great beers on tap and in bottles. You cannot go wrong if you enjoy these items and want to sit outdoors in the FL breezes or indoors in cool air conditioned comfort.

After a morning of fishing we decided to stop at the Lazy Flamingo for some lunch. It was 10:45am and they weren't open but they still let us in with a smile on there face an ready to serve us. Went to both the Lazy Flamingo on Captiva Island and also the Lazy Flamingo on Sanibel Island. Staff was very friendly and likeable. Nice, casual place with good drink selection and good food. They have a raw bar.
