Claims of Nations best clam chowder got us to go there. While the chowder was good, I have had better. Ordered a crab cake sandwich for $11.99, got a very small cake on a stale cheap burger bun. Tasted just ok. Wouldn't recommend and won't return.

Excellent service, good selection of seafood dinners, fair pricing.staff was very attentive. They have a nice selection of draft and bottled beers.
This is a wonderful, clean and informal restaurant- picnic tables add to its casualness. The New England Clam Chowder is an award winner and I understand why....so rich and creamy with plenty of clams and veggies packed. The service was terrific and will return...
I was told by friends to give them another try. And to try the New England Clam Chowder, it is the best. Well, I did today for lunch, and YES, the chowder was Excellent. A huge step up from the last time I ate here. My friend and I each had a cup of chowder and split a crab salad...

great food, great service. They no longer have shark on the menu, though the Mahi Mahi was wonderful!
Captain Curt's is close to Crescent Beach. You can walk there. There was not wait for dinner because we were there on a "down" week before the snowbirds arrive. Grouper and mahi mahi were great! Our friends love their clam chowder. The place was somewhat noisy so visiting with friends was hard. I hear they have a room where Buckeye...

Fun place where kids are welcome. The food is beach fare and the atmosphere is pleasantly noisy. Good service and value
There was little good to say about the meals we were seved here. Oh there was a parking space. Try someplace else for chowder or fish...Unless you like everything fried solid
The highly touted clam chowder was good, and my husband liked his trigger fish, which he said was not only tasty but abundant. The fried oysters were awful, though--mostly breading, and the rest of the meal was so-so. The server was pleasant but not very skillful. Keep your expectations modest if you dine here.
