We've been coming to Longboat for 15 years. We tried New Pass because we would always see painters, carpenters, etc. taking lunch break there. They know where to eat! Best burger or fish sandwich in the area! Not on Weight Watchers! More

Stopped here after a visit to the Mote Aquarium. The food was good and inexpensive. Sitting out looking at the water was a bonus! If you have a boat, you can pull right up to the dock and grab something to eat. More

New Pass Grill and Bait Shop is a hamburger stand attached to a bait shop overlooking the bridge between City Island and Longboat Key. The food is good and inexpensive with an interesting view of charter fishing boats coming and going. Don't come here expecting fine dining or excellent service. More

A fun little non-touristy place to stop and grab a bite or drink after visiting the aquarium. A snack shack atmosphere and you sit outside watching the bay. Good music in the background. Classic rock. We had onion rings which were fine. Soft drinks, beer, and wine available. Worth a stop. More
