Nice place to eat, family friendly with kids menu. Very inexpensive compared to some restaurants on John Ringling. We ate there our last day on the trip but wish I found this place on the first day! Would have eaten here everyday for breakfast & lunch.

Very highly recommended on Tripadvisor and given the reviews, I was expecting something awesome. A busy, bustling diner. Full and cosy. Once we found this place we knew to get here early, beat the wait, and order the seafood omelette and great coffee.

Really enjoyed the quaint size of the restaurant - great tasting food and fast service. Don't miss the muffins! Wait was longer than we wanted so two of us ate at breakfast counter, which was perfect. Delicious breakfast!

The servers are very friendly and accommodating. We all liked what we ordered, and the prices were reasonable. Everything was very tasty.

The food is always fresh, well prepared, and actually creative. For a diner style restaurant with modest prices, the Blue Dolphin excels. Service is fast, friendly, and informed. We never visit Sarasota with also eating at the Blue Dolphin.

Quick service, great atmosphere and best of all the food was delicious. Went for breakfast and had the fried chicken stake with eggs, toast and fruit and everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fresh. Would definitely go back!!!

I had the omelet, not the best. The omelet was more than adequate size, but the eggs seemed of weird texture. Service was good, probably will not go back.
