Have tried many menu items and have found everything delicious but consistently overpriced. Will go back. Wish hey had a broader wine selection.
We walked in about 15 before close and no one said anything negative! They welcomed us and let us pick our table. Our server was very attentive and answered my questions about the wine list like she'd known me for years. We split a bottle of Treana and started with a gnocci appetizer. Covered in pancetta, goat cheese and carmelized... More
Great place to end our road trip day. The walls are covered in art, our wait-person was friendly, helpful and really waited on us., the food excellent. my husband was afraid we'd picked a yuppie place but was made instantly comfortable by our wait-person and the extensive selection of beers as well as the elective menu. It's noisy and lively-... More
The food is so unique, the menu changes depending on what is in season and they change it daily. The atmosphere is cozy, eclectic, and romantic (for dinner). Various artists have paintings displayed throughout the restaurant that are for sale. The food is delicious, from steak to fish, its all very delicious! I have been there a handful of times... More
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this eccentric restaurant. The brunch menu wasn't very extensive but there was a bit of everything. I thoroughly enjoyed the Banana-Rum French Toast was great and the rosemary potatoes tastes great. If you find yourself stopping here on Sunday, I'd recommend starting with those dishes.
I was visiting my daughter who is a student at FSU the weekend of the FSU vs. Miami football game. On Friday evening before the game my daughter suggested we have dinner at Kool Beanz. It was crowded and we had about a 35 minute wait. The host at the door had a waitress bring us some wine while we... More
My daughter still talks about the flank steak! The fish was fresh, and prepared with a decadent twist. We'll definitely return! Parking is difficult so beware!
We had to wait a long time to get in on a football Saturday, but we got seated close to the bar. All 4 of us raved about our orders. I have never been disappointed in the creative dishes cooked to perfection.
Went with a large group. The menu, while large, is limited to mostly high calorie high carb entrees and appetizers. All were well prepared and creative. Just be prepared for heavier fare. It's casual but for tally it was relatively pricey.
This is second time we have visited this restaurant and the first time that we've eaten there. We ordered the tuna and the fried chicken. Although we had an issue with the tuna the server apologized and properly made things right!
