This is a gourmet pizza place based on New England. Food is great, service is very ood, owner is friendly but and acquired taste - pricing is gourmet and it deserves to be, just be aware you are paying for quality

The pizza is so good here...I love love Scamotz and cant wait for the crowds to go back north so we can eat there again. The salads are amazing with delicious home made dressings. We have never had a bad meal here.
excellent really tasty pies are available at this somewhat hidden away spot in downtown Venice. it is small but there is outside seating and takeout. good salads too.
Scamotz is a very small, adorable pizza place. The food is obviously very fresh and everything was excellent. It's a small space, so be prepared for wiggling between tables, but it's well worth it. I moved to Venice last fall and eat here often. The food quality is excellent and the combinations they put together are great. Salads are the best and quite creative. They just changed the menu the last time I was there and Quinoa Salad fantastic!

We have eaten here a couple of times and find the food very good. Salads are wonderful with fresh makings. But it's very pricey.
Couldn't wait to try this pizza, but despite the supposed quality of ingredients (according to the cashier) the only thing that impressed us were the large chunks of mushrooms. One large & two small pizzas --take-out--were over $80. The assembled pizza eaters all mourned the fact that we didn't order from their favorite pizzerias! So wanted to love this place,...

We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting the area. It was recommended as a good choice and it was amazing. Probably the best pizza I've ever had. Only issue is we had to go back home to Canada and now wait until we visit the area again!
