just like New England it was being home only in Florida great chowda- lobster bisque to die for and the best fried clams( whole belly) if you have a chance go, it is worth the wait and you will love the place. If you are from Mass. then all the patrons are your friends, definitely a Bit of Boston

Usually my husband and I order different dishes so we can review more food. This time we both chose the hot lobster roll with drawn butter and decided after eating we will come back many times and try everything. We shared a clam chowder which is very authentic and the best I have had since Boston. It was filled with... More

Went on a Saturday, 5pm. Not busy. We had Philly cheese was good with chowder. Soup was a bit fishy. Have been here numerous times, first time it was not top notch. But still ok. Had fish taco with broccoli. Flour tortilla had a weird taste. But veggies and slaw was good. Broccoli had a fishy taste and was luke... More

This restaurant has been in the Venice area for at least 8 yrs. It is very unpretentious & casual. The food is fresh & all the fish is wild caught. You can close your eyes & think you are in one of the restaurants on Cape Cod, nothing fancy but the food is good.

I have to admit, being from Massachusetts, the name alone dragged me to A Bit Of Boston. Tucked away at the end of a strip mall, parking could become a problem as this place is really very popular, My wife and i waited about 25 minutes to be seated after that the service was excellent, Menu consists of mostly seafood,... Was recommended to go here whilst on vacation due to their amazing Philly cheese steak and we weren't disappointed! Portions were huge!! Food was delicious! Clam chowder was yummy and would be enough for a main meal. Can't wait to go back this year!!

Once again, Bit of Boston did not disappoint. The scallops were the best ever. But, I always say that. I had the fried clams with fried scallops roll. Not listed that way on the menu but we were early in the day, so they made it for me. If it was busy I would have not asked for it that... More

The decor is nothing to write home about, but the food more than makes up for it. The lobster mac & cheese caught my eye right off the bat, fortunately I didn't waiver. The portion was huge, a mixture of 2 kinds of cheese with claw meat adorning the top. It was very tasty! The other diners I was with... More

We have eaten there off and on for about 3 years and have always been delighted. The food is wonderful and the staff very accommodating . We have been there almost weekly since November. The staff now recognizes us and many times the owner thanks us for our business. We're going to miss them when we return to New York... More

We select the majority of our restaurants by the reviews on this site. We had high expectations for this place. I ordered the pasta with shrimp and Alfredo sauce. It was okay. I ate about 1/3 of it and didn't bother bringing the remainder home. The place was packed and there were people waiting for a table. I don't see... More
