Decatur is a very family/pet/pedestrian friendly place and DG fits right in. Warm, relaxing decor with lots of indoor/outdoor seating.Their pastries, from local restaurant Ducks Kitchen, are among the freshest and tastiest in Decatur. The homemade Pop-Tarts will make you snub the box brand. Alas, every time I visit, there's lots of smile, but absolutely no speed in their service.... More

I met a business associate for coffee, and it was lovely. The place was packed at 2 pm, but we found a sit on stools near the window. She had coffee and I had a divine chai lattee. The pastries and small lunch items wrapped in plastic looked good, but we weren't hungry. Dancing Goats has the vibe of a... More

Don't get me wrong. I love Starbucks and when traveling use my Starbucks finder app quite a bit. But the Dancing Goats has even tastier coffee and people who really understand and appreciate it all.

I am not a coffee drinker so I can't comment on that, but this is one of my favorite stops for tea and a snack. The baked goods are several steps above most coffee shops. The mini baked donuts are delicious!

I like this coffee house. My children and I are frequent patrons. Very casually relaxing environment.

My friend, knowing I am a huge lover of quality coffee shops, suggested I stop by the Dancing Goat. This place is awesome. The ambience is fantastic, the staff is so friendly and they have special offerings such as the Affogato (espresso, ice cream and dark chocolate). A definite must try for your next stop to Decatur.

Toured this coffee shop on a road trip and we enjoyed the time to relax and reflect on miles covered. Thought the staff, coffee and other patrons were wonderful. We would return on future road trips.

The baristas are great as is the coffee they brew: batdorf and bronson. I could literally drink 4 cups of this a day. However, it's usually hard to find a place to sit as it is crowded. Because of that, it's also hard to get any work done there.

At least, I don't think it is. Just feels like a wonderful, independent coffee shop with excellent coffee, lots of seating and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
