I met a friend here. It was my first experience with Bank Street Cafe at lunch. Go early to avoid the crowds. We were there at 11:30 and it was very nice. Good was good.
I had the crab cakes. Very good and they were not frozen but freshly made. My guests had the Trout, Hamburger, and Shrimp and Grits. All was very tasty and portions sufficient. Only complaint is that it is a little noisy.
I tried the fried okra, spinach artichoke dip and the shrimp & grits. The grits were awesome, that is usually the down fall of good shrimp & grits. Fine food prepared and served by fine folks. My husband and I have played here several times (as a band). The service is always great. Friendly, casual atmosphere! Wonderful food and drink menu.
Griffin has many great restaurants, but this is one of the best! I've eaten here MANY times and it has always been great!!! The specials are amazing!! The brunch is a must on the weekends!! David and Tracy are awesome, and the wait staff is the best (Sonny, Mary, Liz & Bobby are our faves!!) Keep up the great job.... More
This is just what Griffin needed; an alternative to (and competition for) 6th Street Pier. I have enjoyed three dinners that were all excellent and my dining companions each time agreed; the food is delicious. One nice option at... More
Bank Street Cafe - I eat here often and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the BLT - it's nothing fancy, but it's made with some mighty tasty bacon, fresh lettuce, and ripe tomatoes. The beer is cold and there is a good selection. At night, there is "Shrimp and Grits" - you can't beat it anywhere. Most weekends... More
I have only been there once but sampled three entrees and all were great. The building is old and well restored, service is just right, and the food will keep me coming back.
I had the French Dip and it was one of the best I've ever eaten. The staff catered to my every need. You cannot do better with the price for your meal. I'll definitely eat at Bank Street Cafe again.
quite a variety of tasty options on this lunch menu. beeeeautiful mural on the wall of french lass on a bicycle, which when i saw, i knew this was a place i'd like. jones sodas, ms. vickies chips, and plenty of room either upstairs with a view of town or on the cool marble floor level tables.
