This was our first time dining at Bernie's. the restaurant was very clean and did not have that smokey smell some other places have. The service was knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. The food was very good. Will definitely add this to our favorite restaurants on Tybee.

Killer crab bisque, awesome hush puppies, super-fresh shrimp, and a kid-friendly waitress. Can't beat that.

I've had shrimp tacos, I've had fish tacos, but I'd never had fried oyster tacos until the waitress suggested them. It's now one of my husband and my favorite takeout dinners. Two large tacos (if they weren't so good you could actually split an order between two people).

Food was good, prices were good. The service was lacking. We went on Easter Sunday. Nothing special. We had a hard time getting drinks refilled. Had to get up and ask for a to go container. The waitress never checked back on our party of 8!!!

Cool atmosphere. SLOW service, especially considering we were one of 2 tables in the place. Food was decent. Parents love Oysters, so we tagged along. Nice locale tho.
