This locally owned business has been around for a few years now - but I just discovered it in 2012. I am so sorry I didn't know about it sooner - the food is delicious and the service is always prompt and friendly. Going to Tango's has become a weekly event for me - just love their empanadas. Lots of... More

Have eaten several times, quick service, very friendly help and a great little meal at a very reasonable price.

It's a little hole in the wall on a sketchy looking street but it's delicious. Hot, fresh and crispy empanadas with a variety of sauces. The owners love to talk about their native Argentina and the food they create.

Thanks again to Trip Advisor reviewers! We were passing through Boise and wanted a good local restaurant, rather than a chain restaurant. This was highly recommended and thought we would give it a try. Wonderful food at a great price! We each had 3 empanadas and a pop, all for less than $20.00. We tried 2 meat empanadas: the gaucho... This place was a little out of the way, but made for a tasty lunch stop off the Greenbelt. The owner is super friendly, asking who you are and where you're from (particularly if you throw some Spanish at him). There's swanky Argentine tango playing over the sound system, and Boca Juniors flags and other Argentine memorabilia lining the walls.... More

Each empanada is made to order, we went there every other day (sure we were staying a couple of blocks away so it was easy) but the owners are amazing and so nice to support a local family. The flavors are excellent - we hade the pork, the gaucho and the mole chicken. If you want it hotter get some... More

The empanadas were really good. I love food, especially spicy food! Though these were not very spicy, they were mildly spicy and were incredibly tasty. Pork was my fav!
