The food is alright, the pie is alright. It's kind of dark and quiet and slow. Kind of creepy atmosphere for a restaurant.

Frontier Pies in Rexburg looks a little dated and run down from the outside. The restaurant is in need of a serious makeover. However, we found the food to be very good and the staff very friendly. We stopped in for a late lunch and were treated to tasty entrees complimented with cornbread fresh from the oven. My daughter was... More

We ate here on a Saturday afternoon and only saw 2 other people in the entire restaurant. I got the lunch special, which included a 1/2 sandwich (still large), cup of creamy chicken soup (very tasty) cornbread (Delish) and a piece of pie (chocolate cream pie is so/so) for only $7.99. A lot of food for the price. Good lunch... More

As the name implies, the pies are very excellent here. Pick one up and eat your main course elsewhere. The rest of the food is only slightly above average.

Really awesome breakfasts but the rest of their food is below average. There breakfast is absolutely incredible and is truly Idaho in every way.

Frontier Pies used to have more restaurants then what they have now. Like their name says, they bake pies, and boy! are they good. Maybe it's because that was the place where I had my first pie ever, but I love the restaurant. It's a family style dining place, nicely decorated. Their cornbread is very good and comes as a... We'd had a long drive from Boise and wanted something substantial, not fast food. Frontier Pies was a great surprise. The cornbread was moist and served with delicious honey butter. The dinosaur chicken nuggets were a hit with our kids. The adults had chicken pot pie that was creamy and delicious with a flaky crust. All our food was served... More

Meh. I have no problem with this place. We ate here maybe 4 times while we stayed in Rexburg. Wait staff was ok, food was ok, prices were ok. I would not go back mainly to explore if there were better places to eat.

- We should have turned around as soon as we pulled up - the building was dilapidated and unkept. - As soon as we walked in, my husband was repulsed by the smell. - The restaurant was not clean, and the seat cushion of our booth had very large gashes. - There were only two other tables occupied, which was...
