There was a bit of a wait (about 20 minutes) but that's to be expected on a Saturday night. The restaurant itself it quite small and we were seated near a walkway that the staff just whipped around...not very considerate of those dining there. The food was ok. Obviously not your typical pizza but while you're in Chicago you've gotta... More

Recommended to try here for 'traditional' Chicago pizza. Very different, very nice, friendly service, nice atmosphere!

One half of the pair: Pizzaria Uno is the other one. I cannot imagine a visit to Chicago without a trip to one of them. The pizza is to die for!

I've heard that Pizzeria Uno was so popular back in the day that Pizzeria Due was created for the overflow crowd. I have never been to Uno so cannot compare. Due is small and intimate. There is a bar in the middle of the floor layout and so it has that casual hangout vibe. There were several people sitting solo... More

Went here for dinner on Friday over St Patrick's Day weekend. Overall it was a good visit and great pizza. We arrived early (6:00-6:30) and didnt have to wait long for a table. The service was great. Pizza was good, but a little short on cheese based on recollections of prior visits. The booths are a little tight, but the... More

Traveling with a group of over 50. We had reservations and they were ready for us. Great thick crust pizza and salad. Good service and atmosphere.

Been to Pizzeria Uno? Due's pretty much the same. The Deep Dish pizza piles on the toppings, long as you have the 45 minutes to wait for it. Our room was fairly noisy—a real annoyance for me when eating out. Our server managed adequately but was constantly rushed; it certainly seemed as if they were understaffed.

Huge very thick pizza, great salad, and garlic bread. Thought the wait time for pizza was long but we were warned that it took 45 minutes to bake. The restaurant was busy

Upon arriving we were told the wait was 40 minutes. Ugh. OK, we heard good things so we decided to wait. About two minutes later they called my name and we were seated! Talk about under promising and over delivering! We started with a salad that had all kinds of goodies in it. Then came the small pizza. Holy Cow!... More
