Food was excellent and generous. Little slow on service at first, but once they figured out who's job it was, they more than made up for original neglect. Although, Margaritas were full of flavor, we had doubts as to true mixture (alcohol amount). We will return in future when in Galena.

They have two types of salsa.... regular and mild. The regular was bitter and the mild tasted like ketchup with pureed tomatoes mixed in. The chips are "heavy" and "greasy"... not at all good. Now, on to the meals.... mine had canned mushrooms on top of overcheesed pounded chicken. Mmmmm....! There was hardly any peppers... and no actual flavor apart... More

We love the mexican food at Los Aztecas! We have never gotten anything we didn't like. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly and attentive.

The food was extremely good. The chicken nachos have HUGE pieces of chicken. Portion sizes were very good. 4 entrees, 1 appitizer and 4 teas the bill was $50.00. Service was quick and pleasant. The wait staff was very quick to provide anything requested.

Service was great, we were asked several times by different servers if we were doing alright. Good chips and salsa, always important. Had a taco salad, one of the few veg options. Would go back.

The food was good, margarita wonderful,and they make sure your needs are met promptly. We always make an effort to stop here when in Galena.

We visited again at the suggestion of our kind hosts at Bernadine's Stillman Inn and found the food to be wonderful and they prepared it just as we requested. The staff were attentive and the food has been consistently very good from visit-to-vist. This is just what you need sometimes!

There is nothing on their menu that isn't excellent. The Margs are a great way to start. Just don't sit too close to the entertainment.
