This local legend sits in the lovely rolling farm land North of Evansville. Great bar food and dinners. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the 16 oz smoked bone-in pork chop dinner. The catfish was tasty and crispy without being greasy. I highly recommend the German Potato Salad. The peanut butter pie was the perfect ending. We didn't have alcohol, but noticed... More

We went with a group of friends on a very busy night when they were swamped. On top of the unusually large crowd, the normal cook was out of the game due to an illness. Despite the deck being stacked against us, we had an excellent time. The food was great (prime rib special) and the beer was cold and... More

This place was suggested to us by some friends who live in the area. This is definately a local spot. It was packed, but tables clear quickly. The beer was served in ice cold fishbowls (yum). I have the steak special, which was good and my wife had the fried chicken, which she raved about.

I've never had anything bad from there. The smoked chicken, roast beef, steak sandwich, and smoked pork chops are all really good. I keep going back and trying new things. Most weekends they have a live band playing. Defiantly one of my favorite places to eat.

To the casual observer it looks like any 'ol redneck bar from the outside. Once you're in the food and drinks are great and very reasonably priced and the staff is super friendly. I recommend the ribeye steak sandwich!

Great out of the way place to eat. Very good prices. Amazing service. Our waitress worked very hard. Food was delicious. We stopped for lunch on our way to holiday world. Glad we told the extra 10 minutes to avoid having to go to McDonald's. The mashed potatoes were great. The beer bread was great too. Homemade pie is a... More

Hornville is located in a quiet and scenic farm area easily accessible from US 41 and features a complete family room separate from the bar area. Heavily visited by locals, Hornville is a laid-back place where you'll find nothing fancy, but it's all country good. Fried chicken and steaks are a specialty of the house. You'll also find a wide... We usually eat there at least once a month, we exspecially like the Smoke Chicken on Wednesday evenings. We have tried several diffenert food choices over the last few years and can honestly say we haven't found anything that wasn't good. You would be smart to make a reservation on Friday and Saturday evening as well as Wednesday. These are... More

This place was picked by my oldest sister. Everyone enjoyed everthing about this tavern. Food was terrific and the drinks they made are scrumptious.
