Is the food spectacular? Well, no. How could Coney Dogs be? But this is the real thing for those who want to visit an authentic landmark. Coneys are good, if a bit skimpy. Beans are fantastic.

Atmosphere - ok. Service - ok. Food - not ok. I love coney dogs. These dog are small and they barely "fling" any coney sauce on them. It mostly onion and mustard. I felt it was way overpriced for what I got. Dawsons Dogs wins my vote. Lots of great sauce.
Kids and parents everywhere will enjoy this place. From by yourself, to just chatting with friends, this place is top dog!
From the atmosphere to the food to the drinks, this place is a must visit! The dogs are some of the best I've had anywhere and the glass bottled soda is a nice touch.
This place makes the most awesome hot dogs. I have not tried anything else there but the hot dogs are great. They are very friendly. It feels like you are stepping into the past when you go in this dinner. The place is small and the parking is a little tricky, but it is well worth it! You will be...

Very good and very quick. Decor takes you back in time... mini coke bottles are a big hit. Coney dogs weren't overly sauced and the sauce was not too sweet like some other places in town. The smells took me back to my hometown where coneys were available 24/7 from great places like Angelos and Starlite.
Atmosphere is,amazing, friendly, Coney dogs are out o c this world, along their chili. One of many landmarks in downtown Fort Wayne that this city worth visiting, then catch a finals game or theater production down the street.
When I walked into the Coney Island restaurant in downtown Fort Wayne, I immediately felt like I was in a diner during the 1900’s. The atmosphere is old fashioned and authentic. It does not look like they have changed the décor since the place opened in 1914. This made the feel of the restaurant welcoming and it was a friendly...

Had a friend from out of town visiting and took her to eat at this downtown landmark restaurant. We enjoyed our coney dogs and cokes and sitting on the barstools for a very old fashioned time! I love that Ft. Wayne has kept a place like this in business for almost 100 years!
