Food is not very good --- very bland, except for the salt --- there is a lot of salt. Not much atmosphere and the staff, although kind, is not adequate.

Stopped in for lunch on a trip across Indiana. The restaurant looks dated, but seems to have a reputation among locals. The food is not at all like home cooking. the service is slow and the salad bar is lacking. I know a lot of people meet there often for coffee, or social time and it is large enough for that because very seldom is there ever a wait for a table, which makes people lingering just to visit a good...

Great service but high priced food from a bag, box or can. Great hometown resturant that has been serving people for over 45 years. Think they have lost sight of what they stand for. Sorry Jim Dandy but you dont cut it anymore.

It had very good food, fast service and a very pleasant staff. It was close to motels and not far from I 70 exit.
