I've been here twice now and had great experiences both times. We all like to order different items off the fresh seafood menu and try each other's selections. I've never been disappointed. The menu changes daily so you'll never get bored with the food. The waiters know the menu well, and know what works well together. If you don't like... More

The food here is really excellent. it's pricey, but you get what you pay for. The seafood is fresh, well-cooked and beautifully presented. I'd particularly recommend the crab cakes, which have more crab in them than any I've ever seen.

We ate here for our anniversary. We made reservations and only waited about 10 minutes (the place was packed). Easy to find. The staff was extremely friendly. Our waiter wasn't so much, but we didn't let that ruin our experience. All of the other employees were great. At first the prices seem kind of high, but the food was so... More

The food is excellent as well as the decor and service. If you go for your birthday, they print your name at the top of the menu. The shellfish tower is not to be missed. Their fish is way overpriced. Great for a special occasion or expense account.

Three of us that were at a conference went to the Oceanaire on the recommendation of a friend. It was obviously an upper scale restaurant when we walked in - good silverware on white linen tablecloths with attentive staff. Food was very good, although not cheap. I started with one of the lower-cost appys (calamari) at roughly $13 and went... More

Beautiful restaurant, amazing atmosphere. The service was perfect from wait staff that have worked there for years. Excellent wine pairing suggestions. The presentation and flavor of the food could not have been any better. Enjoy!

We can always rely on a wide selection of fresh seafood uniquely prepared to provide a new taste. I don't mind the extravagance on the food but the wine list is a little pricey if you don't really have distinguishing enough tastes for fine wine.

The Oceanaire has been our choice for my birthday celebration for a couple of years. This year was a bit disappointing as some of the menu selections had changed. But the oysters are fabulous and the service is personal. They will even print out a personalized menu for you if you let them know the occasion when making a reservation.... More

My best friend and I met for happy hour at Oceanaire. For all those people giving negative comments concerning food and service are misguided. First of all, if one goes during happy hour (4-7pm) you will find a vast array of selections in the $5 to $6 range. Mussels, shrimp and grits along with oysters were very well prepared and... More

My husband and I went here for our first anniversary. After reading the decidedly mediocre reviews, we were pleasantly surprised at both the ambiance and delicious food. The staff was nothing short of friendly, and the food was magnificent, given the nature of the restaurant. I really don't think you can go wrong with the food selection, and when in... More
