Waited all week on a work trip to Indy to sample the Sunday menu. Absolutely fantastic signature shrimp starter, rib sandwich and brownie but ruined by the most arrogant and rude waiter we have met this week

Perfect steaks, great sides. Prices are lofty, but the service is excellent and the atmosphere is top notch. You are well cared for at Harry and Izzy's. Whether with a group or just a couple, this is a "must eat at" place in Indy.
I came with a group of about 10 people without a reservation. A room was identified for us and we were quickly seated. The server was very friendly and efficient in serving drinks.
Food orders were delivered remarkably quickly for a busy dinner hour and for a largish group. I had the steak which was just as advertised. Portions are...

Atmosphere was great. Our Server was excellent. She was very knowledgeable of the menu. I had the aged ribeye. It was cooked perfectly and had a very good taste.
From the owners of St Elmo's , this nice restaurant has the same quality, but a different atmosphere. More informal, family friendly. Need to try Shrimp cocktail
One of my favorite stops well visiting Indianapolis. I have visited there the last 3 years and the service, food and atomshpere never changes it is always excellent.

You can get the classic shrimp coctkail from St. Elmo's. They are trying to capitalize on that connection with St. Elmo's. I was a little disappointed when I went there. High priced food that I wasn't wowed by....however I do believe St. Elmos is the best place to eat in Indiana.
We met some friends at Harry and Izzy's and depite the fact that it was a busy Friday night, we were seated at great table where we were able to talk over the din and catch up. The food was outstanding from the shrimp cocktail to the steaks! The service was great too. We split an entree so we could...
