Every October we spend a girls weekend in Brown County and every year we have lunch at the Daily Grind. The turkey sandwich is piled HIGH and the sandwich is delicious!! so is the coffee selection!! Go early because the wait can be long around lunchtime. This year we plan to try the breakfast sandwiches... If you go, I promise... More

Their business card is absolutely correct in saying they brew a superior cup! The best coffee shop I have been to in years. We buy bulk coffee in crazy flavors and these folks are so generous they give you your 13th pound free!! Great variety on brew as well as in bulk. They care about the customer and treat you... More

The owner is very volatile. I have never seen an owner run off business from his interaction with customers. It can be uncomfortable. The food and coffee are average. There are better places in Nashville like Muddy Boots or the Hob Nob.

The owners are present and the product reflects that fact. The menu is extensive and well executed and you can get a surprisingly inspired cup of coffee or coffee drink. The heritage of the place stretches back to the 70s when it was also in Bloomington, Dunkirk Square. The current incarnation is quite different in feel (more down home less... More

They now have a Sunday Special for the Winter Season! You can get Breakfast all day on a Sunday. I got Breakfast and my husband got Lunch worked out great. The food was wonderful. He had a homemade Split Pea Soup, and he said it was so good. Hal and his wife just make everyone feel welcome. If you go... More

I stop in here every time I am in Nashville for tea, my personal favorite is the Cinnamon Orange Spice, iced. This time my BF had the coffee which he really enjoyed and we also had sandwiches. A good variety of menu items --breakfast, sandwiches and snacks. We also tried the big [--] chocolate chunk cookies and they were wonderful.... More

What a great spot to relax with a cup of coffee or tea (plus a snack) and a newspaper. Excellent service as well.

The coffee and tea are very good. You can get ground coffee, whole beans, and loose tea. They have many varieties of coffee and tea to drink. They have a food menu but we only came for drinks. It is worth a visit!

My wife and I have been sojourning to The Daily Grind for years now, and we haven't been disappointed yet. Most importantly, they have great coffee and pastries. You can select from 3-5 coffees made, or from the 100 or so coffees they sell by the pound. The owner is a really nice guy and always engages us in pleasant... More
