Delightful wait staff; excellent food nicely presented; interesting decor in this most unique restaurant venue. High end prices but quality supports the prices in a rather limited but excellent menu

We stayed in the Wheeler cabin for a weekend anniversary trip. It was cute, rustic and authentic. Comfortable - no. The bed was hard, like concrete. The bathroom was tiny and the plumbing had issues. We have definitely stayed in much nicer B&Bs.
We did very much enjoy the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Fantastic food and service. Great wine...

Lunched here. The sandwiches were ok but not fantastic as we thought they would be based on reviews. Sandwiches cost approx $ 9 - 10 and are accompanied by cole slaw (with way too much salad dressing) and very greasy french fries.
The building has been here forever & is decorated with antiques. If you are in the area, you...

Way too expensive for what you get. Good food but overpriced. Between the first time I went (very good food -5+yrs ago) to the last time...the food was okay.

I ordered the lamb chop, which was tough and had to be returned to the kitchen. To allow us to dine together while changing my entree order to a filet,...

And this does remind you Back When. Story Inn brings on the best food and tries to serve as many as possible. People love this place is Brown County as they love all the eatery's in Brown County. The road to the restaurant is very winding but a beautiful drive. The service was excellent and the food very good. The building itself is very quaint and interesting as is the surrounding area. Will be eating here again in the fall (if not before then as well) as I have reservations already made to stay in the Inn during...

Really it was one of the neatest restaurants I have ever been too. We drove almost 30 minutes from Bloomington just to try it and it was WELL worth it. I have been looking for a reason to go back ever since. I love that they go local on everything!
One of a kind place, most everything is locally grown or bought. Very unique in that it's the only thing in town other than the cabins they rent out. Food is above average and even though the menu is somewhat limited it's worth the scenic and I mean scenic drive
My wife and i had stayed in columbus indiana on friday night. I found the Story Inn on tripadvisor and i wanted to try a different place for breakfast on saturday morning on our way to Nashville Indiana. We drove about 15 miles down to Story Indiana and I was surprized to find that we were the only ones at...
