While I am not a huge fan of Mexican food, this is said to be the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Dubuque. I've heard they have great Margaritas, too.

I lived in Mexico, I am an American. My wife is Mexican. Los Aztecas is not good quality REAL Mexican food. I believe the owner is Guatemalan. I found the meat they use was very cheap and sloppy. I've never gone back. Theirs is NOT true Mexican food.

it was recommended by the super 8 host and decided to try it. The atsomphere of the restaurant was alive and friendly. the food was excellent. I had the chicken tacos and my husband had the steak burittos. we both made a good choice. The price was average when if comes to mexican food.

Excellent chips, salsa, and margaritas. Great atmosphere and fast service. Super fast service for lunch in and out. On your birthday they sing and you get to wear a sombrero. They have two locations in Dubuque, the location on the west end has outdoor seating which is nice during the summer.

it was next to the hotel and the desk clerk at super 8 recommend this restaurant. Good food at a reasonable price. I had the steak burrito and it was made just right, not too spicy. i recommend this restaurant if you are passing by dubuque.

Great place for lunch. In and out. Will make any dish vegetarian. They make their tortilla chips in house fresh. The salsa is fresh and delicious. The margaritas are strong. No shortage on the alcohol. We always get a 8 oz blended margarita with lunch.
