Was impressed with the menu items. Of course it is fast food, but the quality for fast food is pretty good. They have the crinkle cut fries which are my favorite.

While traveling in Des Moines, Iowa I stopped at Culver's. Good food. Enjoyed the concrete mixors and cheddar nuggets. Always good food.

If you have never been in a Culver's you have to try it. The hamburgers remind of the good old days when they were cooked on a flat top grill. The custard is great....although I stick to vanilla...seems that is the way it is just supposed to be....nothing flavored and nothing extra.

Took the wife for an ice cream. The have a decent variety. The custard is made a little different so it's thicker. Maybe it was just the thickness but it didn't seem that special.

If you want a good 'Fast Food' joint, you can't go wrong at any Culvers. Their FOD (Flavor of the Day) custard is usually very good.
