Great atmosphere, good service, reasonable price, good food. My wife and I dined here May 21, 2013 and enjoyed it very much. The Hot Brown was a little dry but good. The Veggies were good but a little bland. Would go back here the next time in town.

Great atmosphere to go along with amazing southern food. The catfish and hot brown are wonderful and their sides are all top notch.

When I travel, I like to get a bit of the "local" flair...this place had it in spades. The food was wonderful, fried green tomatos, friend chicken corn on the cob....a southern food bonanza. While the food took a bit long to come out, it was worth it in the end.

Eclectic atmosphere in a multileveled small restaurant. Fried chicken breasts entrée and spouse had the fish. Enjoyed the rich food, needed a take home container for sure on my part. Noise level got busy as the restaurant filled up at our back room table. Overall good experience... tasty food.

I have dined here recently and I do believe they have the best Hotbrown in town. If you are looking for an authentic Hotbrown, then look no where else but here. Service was wonderful, and they are a good country home cooking kind of place.

A friend of mine stopped into Ramsey's for lunch on a very rainy May day and found a valuable gem tucked into the unpretentious but well-lit corner restaurant. Essentially, for lunch this is a meat and three sides sort of place. For $9 a piece, my friend and I had well prepared Chicken and Dumplings, two vegetable sides and corn... More

We dined here at the recommendation of our hotel's front desk. The wait was short. The service was prompt and friendly. And the portions were large. I had the Cajun catfish and my husband had the Country fried steak. The meal was really good and very filling. If you are looking for down home or country cooking, this is the... More

In May of 2013 we stayed overnight in Lexington on our way to Memphis and used Trip Advisor to find Ramsey's Diner in downtown. What a great local diner. I had a local favorite, a Hot Brown (turkey and ham covered with white gravy and melted cheese) that was decadent!! Totally over the top but very tasty. My wife had... More

Generous portions, great atmosphere and well-poured drinks kept us in our seats longer than we realized -- we were the last table in the joint on a Monday night! The bartender graciously re-created the Keeneland Breeze as three of us shared the giant Hot Brown and a veggie platter. Save room for the coconut pie.

Frozen brown food. The menu promised local food. Another lousy Kentucky eatery that promises and does not deliver.... We are so ready to go home. Nothing local, so much fat. The pies and as bad as the entrees.
