If you like fried foods and Cajun music this is the place for you. I did have some good sauteed frog legs, but the fried seafood platter required multiple antacid tablets.
We were too early for the live music (and too tired after traveling to wait two hours for it) but I would judge it to be a great place to listen to some really great stuff. Our waitress was a jewel - friendly and helpful. We had Swamp Mud, frog legs & ettouffe. I loved the appetizer and my entree... More
We visited this small beautiful town east of Lafayette Louisiana for their city wide garage sale weekend. We went on Saturday and there was no rain in the morning time. It was beautiful. There were many people enjoying shopping and eating. We went to a small store near the town center called Charlie T s specialty meats. A friend recommended... More
Good assortment of Cajun fare. The live Cajun music and dance floor are fun and the place is family friendly. It was so much fun watching everyone dance we even tried it ourselves.
Drove through Breaux Bridge en route to NOLA on purpose to eat here. I'd call it more of an upscale roadhouse, and the food's not particularly Cajun, but still good, if not great. Emphasis on fried foods; well, welcome to America. I'm deeply unimpressed with gimmicky, "haute" cuisine type cooking, and you won't find it here. Good food, and sufficient... More
We were spending the night in Breaux Bridges on the second night of a 26 day road trip across the U.S. We wanted to get some local culture and had been directed to Pont Breaus'x Cajun Restaurant. The food was good. We got a variety of things; wanting to sample the local fare. However, the live Cajun music and dancing... More

My first ever Gumbo here and it was delish! Highly recommended! The waitress Marie took a shine to my kids so we returned the following day. She was happy to see us!
Four of us ate here. Their menu is mostly seafood and mostly fried. We all ordered a bowl of their Seafood Gumbo but none of us liked it as it tasted very watery and was bland. We also ordered some hushpuppies that were just ok. I bought a t-shirt and an apron while I was here. Pont Breaux's Cajun Restaurant... More
The exterior of the building dosent look very promising, but as soon as you walk in the door, you get absorbed into the Cajun dancehall experience. The fried alligator is great, and the Cajun blackened catfish is the best! Catfish is usually not on the top of my list, but this was to die for! Encrusted in spices and breadcrumbs... More
