The crawfish was delicious, but the service was horrible. As a solo traveller and diner, I felt lie I was treated very poorly by the pony tailed young man in whose section I was seated. Excessively long waits for beverage refills, to ask how I was doing, and for the bill. He was obviously more interested in garnering healthy tips...

We have gone to Prejeans about 6 times a year for the last 10 years or so on business trips. The last several times we were greatly disappointed and had decided to try somewhere else. We were thru there late Friday and too tired to look so we went back and so glad we did. The food and service were...

This is a very popular restaurant even on a week day. We enjoyed the music and meal very much. The waitress was helpful and let us substitute some items to make the food more healthy. I loved the Cajun music. Nice swamp decorations including a big alligator.

She had the duck, and I had the chicken and sausage. The chicken and sausage gumbo is the winner of a world championship. OMG. It was TO DIE FOR. It...

We found the food to be ok at best, prices high($3.00 ice tea, $7.95 for a cup of gumbo, around $29/person for lunch) for small shrimp and soso service. There are too many restaurants in the area that are much better.
I lived in Louisiana for several years, then moved back to Missouri & got married. Recently I was able to bring my husband back down to Lafayette with me to meet my friends. We met as a group at Prejeans and just had a wonderful dinner. Live music, fun Cajun atmosphere, and delicious food. We had gumbo and shared a...

We stopped on our way home from New Orleans for a Sunday Brunch and fully enjoyed the local fare, live music, people watching. The food was good but very rich Cajun, only problem was...
