Sunday brunch is a must. Great music, food and drink. Festive atmosphere. Everything from soup and salad to a great omlete station and the chef doing the creations was great to visit with. Something for everyone. Did I mention the mimosas that came with brunch?

Cajun specialties abound on the three serving tables, and the service is impeccable. Several alcoholic beverages are included in the Sunday Brunch. I recommend especially the crab corn chowder and the smoked gouda grits.

The Crab & Corn Bisque is superb - I'll have it as a main course next time. Seafood Gumbo was good: a bit more rice would have been nice, but then I couldn't have managed the Key Lime Pie so I suppose I shouldn't be so greedy! Excellent service and interesting paintings make this a good choice for a night... More

My husband and I stopped there last week, very cool place to eat and check out art work. Great drinks and fast and great food.

I just thought this was the coolest place. From the second I walked in the service started. The hostess was terrific. Our waiter knowledgeable and cool (and funny), and the atmosphere was amazing! The decor was really cool and whenever I go to a gimmiky (is that even a word) place like this I expect mediocrity but this place really... More

I like to eat local when I travel. Well, that can be dangerous in Louisiana - mainly because there are so many really good local restaurants. I ate way too well! Blue Dog Café is fun and quirky, but I just really enjoyed the food. The service was a bit slow which was odd because we came in at the... More

This food at the Blue Dog is wonderful. We had some of the best catfish ever. The corn and crayfish bisque was smooth and full of flavor. Do not pass up the homemade bread pudding. Really, do not pass that stuff up.

This was our second trip to the blue dog and the food was excellent. We had the grilled catfish and crawfish étouffée. I don't think We have ever had better fish. Staff and service were great.

It was hard to get into this place as there are lines unless you have reservations. We did get in and it was really worth it. The soups are to die for, I had the shrimp bisque and went back for seconds. There is something for everyone at this buffet, unusual compare to your standard buffet in the variety they... More
