We arrived in New Orleans to visit family and were taken right to Copeland's from the airport. We were not disappointed with this highly recommended restaurant. Our table consisted of 5 adults and a toddler. Our waiter was outstanding and accommodated some of our special orders. I had red beans and rice with grilled shrimp. Awesome flavours. Service was prompt....

The food was okay. I could have had the same quality food back home. The waiter provided the excellent service. He was very friendly and courteous. He told us where the good places to go in New Orleans. If it weren't his A + service this place would have received minus 5 stars. The biggest problem I had was Linsee....

We frequent this Restaurant at least once a month. Have never experienced an unpleasant time. Food is good, and comes out hot. Service at times is a bit slow, but it is a busy place....Seems like the issue is understaffing vs the wait staff not keeping up.
We were looking for some good Cajun/Creole/Seafood and found it all at Copeland's. Even though it was very busy (a surprise for a Tuesday night) we got right in. I ordered Shrimp and Catfish Creole with rice, and it was very good. Spicy and rich. My husband ordered Crab Stuffed Catfish and said it was wonderful. We each succumbed to...

I enjoyed this restaurant very much. Our server, with her delightful Cajun accent, gave us helpful information on the menu items.
I had flavorful soup and vegetables, and others in the party enjoyed their stuffed shrimp. I was excited that the bartender could make a skinny margarita!
We tasted a couple of desserts--red velvet cheesecake and bread pudding--both of which...

Based on reviews found on TripAdvisor, we decided to try Copeland's. The desk person at our hotel gave us a free appetizer coupon, which was great. We order the Crab Fingers as an appetizer..they were FANTASTIC! My wife ordered Shrimp & Catfish Creole (only 550 calories) and I ordered the Jambalaya Pasta (way more than 550 calories). Both were excellent!...

I was excited to hear that Copeland's was close to the hotel where I was staying in Slidell. It was very crowded when I arrived on a Saturday night about 8:30 but I was greeted promptly by a hostess and offered to chance to wait in the bar. The bartender was extremely busy but got to me as soon as...

This place sort of presents itself online as a steakhouse, but really it is more of a cafe family type restaurant, though you could take a date here. I loved our waitress, Jamie. She suggested red beans and rice and fried chicken strips, and they were excellent. The building itself is very nice, with an interesting ceiling. It is quiet...
