I might be a picky pizza connoisseur as we have many fabulous pizza places where I live. Unfortunately, I did not find Mario's cheese pizza up to par. The pizza was overcooked. I do not like my cheese browned. The sauce was bland and the crust reminded me of what we make with supermarket dough at home. My husband had... More

Food tasted great, wish there was more of it for the price. I got chicken fingers and fries and was very surprised at the small plate that it was served on. Seems like a good place to bring the family, friendly staff.

This place has the best Italian sandwiches in Maine (just my opinion). Mario's has been around forever - not an easy thing in a small town. They have a huge selection of sub sandwiches and other items. This is the place I go for a true Maine Italian when I'm in town.

I cannot come back to Maine without grabbing an Italian at Mario's. As a world traveler, I have had many, many terrific sandwiches. Nothing compares to the taste of home and the staff at Mario's captures the flavors perfectly. I recommend the ham Italian, with peppers, onions, black olives, white American cheese; plus oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. Enjoy!

We recently ate here twice while we visited Maine. We wanted something quick and affordable so we tried Mario's. The place had a unique feel and looked like it had been around a while. We were impressed. The place was very friendly and homey feeling, and our food came out in 5-10 minutes. I had the chicken parmesan sandwich, my... More

Bad Experience you have obviously not owned or work in the restaurant business. I however do own a restaurant and we always do cut our fried chicken to make sure it is fully cooked. Frozen chicken is the worst for cold spots it is a pain to get cooked fully. I am sure you would have complained worse if it... More

Love Mario's!! They have been around in Bath for years!! Best ham Italians in town, and maybe in Southern Maine!! The place is nothing fancy, but its a great place for lunch. Prices are cheap and most everything there is good.

My husband and I had previously eaten pizza here and it was delicious! However this time around we ordered sandwiches and our son got chicken tenders with fries. Well apparently they were having some issues with the oil temp and the tenders not cooking properly and had to keep cutting them open to see if they were cooking (never heard... More
