We felt and home and catering to by our waitresses and the chef. I loved the pork and the Fisherman's Stew. Extremely kid friendly, my kid loved his pasta. Great prices compared to other local restaurants. S. S. Milton is a must for dinner in Bethel!!!

The accomodation and decorations were very nice. The meal was very good and the staff made us feel at home. In Bethel it was a very nice place to have dinner with friends.

The atmosphere here is muted. It's a quiet little restaurant on Main St in Bethel. Self-described as "fine casual" the menu is an attempt at fine dining but IMO falls short of that mark. Apple Jack French Onion Soup was a good soup (and it's hard to do a good French Onion Soup) and the seafood bisque was excellent. The... More

A great variety on the menu (including fresh lobster), well-priced, well-cooked, and generous. I'm picky - love veggies and am not a meat eater, yet I had plenty to choose from. Delicious side orders of veggies come with the meal. We liked our food so much we brought our friends back the next night. Quaint old home atmosphere, and we... More

After reading all the reviews, we were excited to have dinner here! We made an 8 pm reservation. From the time we walked in, we were rushed. Our drinks and appetizer came out super fast which at the time we thought was great! The minute they cleared our plates our dinner came out, no time to digest the last course....... More

This was our 5th ski trip to Sunday River in the past six years and the first time this place has been open. What a gem! The place is quaint, the people very friendly and it is like dining in someones front room. As for the food, well it was amazing - you must have the Bisque and the Nantucket... More

Had a wonderful dining experience here Saturday night. Waitstaff was very attentive. The food was delicious. We have eaten here before. We have never been disappointed. We were a bit concerned to see a "For Sale sign outside close to the parking lot. Hope it is for the parking lot and not the restaurant.

Received a recommendation from Dave at Carters Xcountry ski. We are annual visitors to the Bethel area in winter. This was truly a positive dining experience with well presented and prepared food. We would return.

We walked across the street from our B&B and enjoyed a dinner meal. We ordered the evenings specials. I had three steak medallions each with a different sauce and my daughter had the lobster, the waitress was friendly and attentive to our needs. The rolls came out piping hot.
