We saw these reviews on our way into Booth Bay today and decided to stop for lunch. The only thing we would agree with the other reviewers was the cleanliness of the kitchen. The lobster rolls themselves were the worst we have ever eaten. They are pre made and taken out of the refrigerator then quickly heated up. It looked... More

You walk into a kitchen where a very nice gentleman greets you. Nice and clean, with the menu taped onto a stainless steel table. Kinda takes you back for a moment, but for the money, they make good basic food. If your hungry, and not looking for a gourmet experience, they've got you covered.

Stopped off for lunch on our way to Boothbay, lobster rolls ok (minced lobster, but good vallue at $8) but the chowder is first class. Went back a few days later and got a full size (around 8 portions - $18) "Mrs Phil's" key lime pie, which is superb.

They aren't the best lobster rolls you will ever eat. But they are worth the price. Prices are $8 each or 3 for $22 for lobster rolls. They have seafood sandwiches for $2.50 that I actually preferred to the lobster roll. The chowdah was pretty good according to my wife. It could be worse and it could be a lot... More

Phil's Lobster Stop on Rte 27 is about an hour from where I live in Maine, but I usually stop whenever in the neighborhood. Even if I'm not hungry. They still make Mrs. Phil's key lime pie in her memory, same recipe...it is to die for...it really "takes the cake"!! You can buy it by the slice or a whole... More

We went to Boothbay Harbour to stay the night but were hard pressed to find anything that was open...no hotels, no B&B's, no restaurants...so we were definitely pleased to find Phil's on Route 27 open for business. The specialty here are lobster rolls and Phils' fit the bill nicely. They were toasted perfectluy and stuff to the brim with seasoned... More

It looks like a roadside stand... Oh, wait it is. I think it's the best value if you want Lobster or Seafood rolls in the state of Maine! Friendly and just freakin' delicious. If you want to feel like you've gone to heaven you need to try a cup of the seafood chowder. Oh my god. I would move there... More
