Description: Blue Moon serves breafast and lunch 7 days a week. Blue Moon is conveniently located on Commercial Street and right on the water with both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking scenic Boothbay Harbor. The atmosphere is casual and we serve fresh and creative food at reasonable prices. All of the dessert selections and baked goodies are homemade on the premises. Several of the Café’s specialties include, Fresh Baked Muffins, Cinnamon Pecan Crusted French Toast, Eggs and Homemade Corned Beef Hash, Breakfast Burritos, Maine Lobster Rolls, and Crab Quesadillas. We also serve beer, wine and spirits so you must try one of Fred’s Most Excellent Bloodies which is always a favorite for Sunday Brunch. On Sundays we serve Lobster and Crab Benedicts as well as special seafood omelets.

Some of the best vegetarian food in the region in a casual atmosphere - hummus wraps, etc. You order at the counter and then take a seat at one of the tables inside or outside on the deck. There is a gorgeous view of Boothbay Harbor. The deck is right overlooking the harbor. Conveniently located on street running around the... More

We had breakfast here one morning while staying in town. We'd had a very disappointing breakfast the day before at the Ebb Tide so were hoping for better. The blueberry pancakes were good - three large pancakes loaded with blueberries (they charge a little extra for blueberries but nothing like the $1.50 extra per pancake that Ebb Tide charged) and... Good place to stop for pie or a coffee or hang out on a rainy afternoon. Haven't tried breakfast because stayed at a B&B. A little pricey but on par with any decent coffee house prices.

We stopped by here after an employee of Cap n Fish told us it was one of the best places for breakfast in town. We were NOT disappointed at all! The restaurant was small and eclectic and the staff couldn't have been nicer. I don't think I have ever had better breakfast potatoes anywhere else and the breakfast pocket was... More

This little restaurant has it all. Excellent service, food and view. My husband and I ordered the crab quesadila and the burger, both were excellent. If you are loooking for a casual atmosphere with fresh, tasty food, this is a good choice.

We have visited Boothbay Harbor from the UK for 15 years, and have tried a lot of eating places. Since we found The Blue Moon, 11 years ago, we have always gone there for dawn-breakfast, overlooking the harbor, followed by a walk over the footbridge and around BBH before it wakes up. We just completed our 10 days for this... More

This little jewel is truly hidden away, and we feel so fortunate to have found it. We spent our vacation tucked away at the Spruce Point Inn which is lovely but only serves at specific meal times. We had the pleasure of running into this place our last day in Boothbay Harbor. If you want to enjoy a fab view,... More

We went for breakfast before embarking on a harbor cruise. While the location is convenient and the view OK,the food leaves a huge bit to be desired..at least as far as the home-made hash is concerned - basically recycled mashed potatoes with a HINT of corned beef thrown in. Not my idea of "a great brteakfast with a view of... More

We are sorry that you did not like the hash. Most people really enjoy it and the potatoes are cooked fresh for the hash. Perhaps you are used to a different kind of hash in Massachusettes. As far as your comment about the veiw, are you sure that you were sitting on the deck at the Blue Moon Cafe? 99%... More

Really nice, friendly and small. We sat on the covered dock on an absolutely spectaular mid-Sept day. They also have inside dining. It was late in the afternoon and it was a casual lunch with delicious lobster rolls and Blue Moon lager. Real nice place!
