We enjoyed our dinner here, but it was very crowded. Kept getting our drinks wrong. Im sure it was just a busy night. Food was very good and the view was awesome.
We went to the Osprey on Jly 25, 2013 based on a recommendation from our B&B Host, Amy at the Benjamin Packard House in Bath. It was a rainy night, but we found the restaurant easy enough. It is a bit rustic inside and out, but the lobster mac and cheese was incredible. On Amy's recommendation, we only ordered one... More
Great place for food and view!! Off the beaten path. Beautiful marine setting. Worth the time to fine.
Love everything about the Osprey restaurant! We live locally so it is very important to us to have a great restaurant near by that meets our high standards when family and friends are visiting. The menu is creative and always changing, and has something for all needs or wants: fabulous apps (love the Tai Shrimp Cakes, the mussels and the... More
For a special dinner, Tom, Dana, Stacie and I chose the Osprey Restaurant which we all had incredible meals and a wonderful view.
We had dinner with friends, all ordering different plate, and all were shared. Food was very good, not memorable, but reasonable value for money. It is a beautiful setting, the staff were excellent, and overall a very enjoyable evening. We will return
The setting is on the water in Maine, next to a ship yard- just what you want in Maine. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The food was just average. They have a wide selection of different menu items and maybe we just ordered the wrong ones.
Having had several boats at the marnia where the Osprey is located, we have dined here quite a bit over the years. Each year they do tend to get a new chef, so one never knows what to expect. This year we have been there for lunch, dinner, snacks, and just drinks. The drinks are always great, but the food,... More
We went to this restaurant several times last year and loved it. Tonight we went and I ordered the scallops with asparagus risotto. I know scallop dishes tend to be small, but this was ridiculous. It had 8 medium scallops with 1/2 a cup of risotto and two asparagus spears cut up. The whole plate was also luke warm. They... More
This restaurant is off the beaten path for a tourist, but I have a friend in the area and suggested this as the place to eat. My first visit was two years ago with a 50th reunion of some members of our wedding party, Everyone raved about the food and view. I still remembered the haddock sandwich and this year,... More
