I live here. My dad owned a grocery store. Lobster was always on my menu, but his did not compare to this place. If you want lobster, look no further!

I was in the area for my 50th high school reunion. Northern California has great Dungeness crab, but no lobsters. Nunan's has three generations of the Nunan family working. They catch the lobsters in the morning and serve then for dinner that night. Many of the diners appear to be local people and the atmos[here is very friendly, There are...

Pros: good price on the freshest boiled lobsters...comes with drink & a bag of chips...very scant & basic "menu"...you come her for the fresh lobster, that you will crack yourself & eat @ casual tables. Long lines form just before they open at 5 pm every day Cons: long lines, shortage of non-lobster options and sides, not "fancy"
We have been to Nunan's Lobster Hut about 6-7 times during 2 of our trips to Maine and their lobster is still the best! During one trip to Maine we had dinner there 3 nights in a row ... it was that good. Nothing fancy about this restaurant ... just good food. Can't wait to go back.
We have been going to Nunan's since the 70's. It's a no frills type of place, seated right in the middle of a Maine marsh. It has fresh shellfish right out of the ocean. Top your lobster off with the blueberry pie - that's key. Small Maine blueberrys with a crust that is oh so wonderful. Nunan's is a quirky...

Nunan's was recommended by our innkeepers at Bufflehead, as being the lobster place not to be missed. We had some wine, and She had fresh steamers as an appetizer. We each got a 3-lobster platter, which was just the right amount of food. Nunan's was built in 1953, so it is very warm and rustic. Come for the steamers, and...

When I want boiled Lobster, this is where I go. Have been doing so for years. Ate there 2 days of my 5 in KBP this year. Friendly staff, but it's just pain food, no frills; if you want fancy go to an expensive place ;-)
Nunan's has the freshest lobster in town followed closely by the Clam Shack. A tiny spot on the side of the road in Cape Porpoise. Look for the small red building.
Ate lobsters. They were good. Kids less keen on lobster and ate steak. Also very good. Reasonably priced and good, unfussy food
if you want a genuine Coastal lobster shack - this is the spot. And good beers to go with it. Two lobsters for 25 bucks is hard to beat if you are a normally landlocked like me. And a laid back friendly staff makes you really feel at home.
