Looks can be deceiving cause you would never know this place has the best pizza. You walk into this little sicilian store and when you open the door the smell of pizza hits you in the face. The slices are as big as your head and very delicious.

Micucci's is a gem - fabulous selection of Italian imports, deli selection and wine - and their bakery is a bit eccentric but I dare you to buy something and not finish it on the way home. Worth a weekly visit.
Micucci's pizza is heavenly. The dough is light and fluffy and the sauce is the perfect blend of tomatoes and herbs. The cheese is not heavy so as not to take away from the doughy saucy goodness. This pizza is by far the best pizza I have had in my entire life! I am from NYC and this pizza beats every...

This is a small specialty grocery store. They have a wonderful variety of hard to find Italian ingredients. Their fresh pasta is frozen and ready for you to take home to cook. They have a good selection of cheeses, sausages, grains, oils, etc.
At lunch time, you can get a freshly baked slab of Sicilian style pizza which is more...

We go to Portland so often it's getting ridiculous. That being said there are 2 things we must must do when we do go. One, make sure we have our reservation to Street & Co. Two, get the slab pizza at Micucci's. The sicilian style pizza slice is like nothing I've had. It has a very light doughy texture with...

We took the Maine foodie tour and our guide suggested stopping at the market for pillow pizza. He said this is not something to miss. WOW, so glad we listened to his suggestion. You get in line and hope they don't sell out. They just keep handing these beautiful, very large fluffy pizza squares out a window. I think it...

The market is just plain great. But the pizza is an experience you shouldn't miss. Savory, sweet, pillowey heaven. A master combination of perfection. If the line is a mile long, wait. If you think you are too hungry to wait, wait. If you are on the brink of starting a diet, wait. You will savor every delectable bite, never...

Just a five minute walk from the Casco Bay ferry terminal is Micucci's Italian Grocery. If you are there at midday, head to the back of the store for an aromatic assortment of Sicilian-style pizzas and breads. The dough is light and very fresh, and at $5 for a huge slab of pizza, it's a good value. Take some time...

Grabbed a Sicilian slab before a line of 10 descended to wait for their piece of pizza heaven. So simply done, but so good. A tender pillow of dough with a slight crust bathed in that marinara and topped by that mozzarella. I have eaten pizza throughout the USA and this hits my top 2. Pizza making is a gift...

Great place to buy wines and cheese and olive, like stepping back in time to the old fashioned store. Highly recommend if you are in the area and if not, wel worth the trip
